We ♥ Sharon Blackman

We thought we'd share with you the beautiful hand sewn work of textile artist Sharon Blackman. Sharon's work is made entirely from recycled fabrics which she cuts straight into making quirky shapes and warm compositions. We love the homely, affectionate, comfy feel to her work and the use of all the gorgeous worn often floral fabrics - such a lovely way to recycle much loved clothes. Sharon sells her designs as cards as well as one off art pieces, and teaches workshops in Essex to show people how to make their very own piece of folk art.
