Tim Walker

Ever since I first stumbled across Tim Walker's photography whilst on my art foundation year at college I have been totally intranced by his work. It has such a feminine, magical quality too it & on a personal level encompasses a lot of our favourite things - flowers, colour & pattern!

 

I was lucky enough to go to Tim Walker's exhibition at Somerset House just before christmas & fell in love with his work all over again!  It was such an inspiring collection of not only his photography work but also of all the giant sized props he uses.

This next image is from a photoshoot for Vogue which was shot in India featuring the beautiful Lily Cole. I find it such a mesmerising & beautiful image - it's kind of playful but peaceful at the same time.
