Chive

We've been following Chive for a while now on twitter and have loved their beautiful stylish glass and ceramic vases, and so we were thrilled when they contacted us to let us know that they now have now branched out o the UK. Our absolute favourite piece is the Pooley vase - so stylish and somehow 'just so' - I love how it looks just as good without flowers, and the simplicity is just stunning. Chive have been around since 2004 and one of the things we absolutely love about them is one of the things they say about their products, that they:  'like the idea of spreading the love that flowers bring, so we design smaller vases to give a little bit of joy in every space' , I just love this, as not everyone can buy fresh flowers everyday, but if you have a pooley vase you can either buy just a few stems, or even just grab a couple of small wild blooms from the garden and place them in a couple of the tubes, and there you go! A little floral joy for the day! I for one - not being a florist also like the fact that you can't go wrong with this vase, there's no having to 'arrange' as such, which is just the sort of floral arrangement I like!  On another note don't these British Lisianthus look so beautiful in the Pooley vase? With just enough flounce to be feminine, the soft pinky trumpets are the perfect combination with the opaque colour of the vase. And don't they look great with the Mills and Boon books we had as the table settings at our wedding?! I have the Pooley Vase in the Honeysuckle option, but keep an eye out for Alie's post coming soon to see how she has styled the Classic colour way.To have a look at Chive's wonderful range of vases please visit: www.chiveuk.comGeorgia xxDisclosure: We were not paid t write this post, however Chive did kindly send us a sample of the vase we have photographed.
